The artist, Sean Patrick Hart, was born and raised on the island of Maui,
Hawaii. After high school he moved to San Francisco, California where he
graduated from the University of San Francisco in a degree entirely unrelated
to Art...
Sean's passion for art was brought to life by living 18 years in the tropical
colorful climate of the Hawaiian islands. Another 12 years of Sean's life was
spent in the exciting diversity of San Francisco's coastal climate where he
lived across from Ocean Beach in the Sunset district. While attending the
University of San Francisco, Sean lived in a 3 story Victorian flat in the heart
of the Haight-Ashbury district where he observed the multitude of color in
people, nature and music.
Later in his life, Sean moved to Illinois where he spent five years watching the
colorful metamorphis of the Midwest's distinctive four seasons. Having
enough of the flatlands and closing a personal chapter in his life, Sean moved
to Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2004.
Though the ocean still calls to him, Colorado's glorious sunny weather and
majestic mountain peaks have firmly planted themselves into Sean's heart.
These works represent an evolution in Sean's unique painting style and
technique. Currently, Sean prefers self-made museum canvas style board, lots
of color and large texture with a sculpted acrylic paint media design.
